Default 2017 GT-R Premium Edition

Here's a new Autoweek review of the current Godzilla base model (the "Premium"), contending that it is STILL the "deal of the century" as it was back in 2008 when the 2009 model debuted.

However, the specs after the article incorrectly list the engine displacement as 3.5 L rather than the correct 3.8 L.

The rear-end styling looks cool, but the front grill looks ugly.

No plans to upgrade, as the 2009 GT-R is still going strong with ~46,000 miles so far. Plus, I emptied the bank last year buying the wife's 2017 Jaguar F-Type SVR. Earlier this month, we had the Jag (rather then the GT-R) at Branson Z Fest for 5 days of driving the awesome Ozark Mtn roads of Missouri and Arkansas. The Jag has only slightly less performance than my older GT-R, which I attribute entirely to the Jag's lack of a dual-clutch, as it has 95 more hp than the GT-R (575 vs 480) and they weigh the same, and both have AWD. But the slight performance gap aside, the Jag is superior in styling, luxury/quality, creature/comfort features, ride smoothness (while still having superb handling), and exhaust note. But either one has me with a permanent
