Sports Cars with the Best Resale Value
Funny, I was mentioning this to my brother in law last night as we passed a black on black Corvette SS. I would buy this one first, followed by the Jaguar second, XKR of course

No, they must mean the "Grand Sport". It's a Corvette without extra accessories and junk, but bigger brakes and tires (335s!) and a dry sump engine.
Come to think of it, they've basically done what car enthusiasts have begged for in every sports car for the past decade or so: don't just offer a base model and then the big engine in a loaded cruiser, give us a simple base car with the performance goodies so we can just drive.

yes GS, not SS, lol!
i would buy one then slap a ST or SC on it! it also wears the wider front and rear fenders, housing 325's in back... sweet i was checking them out when i got the oil changed on the equinox.

A guy in my office building recently upgraded from an older basic Vette convertible to a new Vette Gran Sport convertible. Its metallic gray and makes the parking lot look great when its parked next to my gun metallic GT-R. The GS is much sleeker and looks good, except (IMO) for the two wide stripes over the front wheel. I believe that the brakes are actually off the ZR-1 (not the Z06)! In any case, it is a good performance value, but of course not the performance of the Z06, much less the ZR-1 or the GT-R.
I really like all the cars they have listed --- except the Tesla. Impractical. Horrible value IMO. And how can they claim good resale value, when it hasn't been around long enough to know?!? But we do know that the most expensive part of the car (the batteries) has a limited life!
Love the XKR. Performance, sexy, and pure class. But how can one choose between the coupe and the convertible? I'd need one of each

... am I the only one who thinks that when it comes to sports cars, resale value should be of little concern? When I buy a toy, I don't buy it with the intention to replacing it later on - I want to buy a car I'll be keeping until either I am or it is dead.
