    I also needed a fast, low light lens, but my decision was easy because I knew exactly what I wanted to shoot with it. Problem was taking pictures of my daughter indoors, natural light, small condo. She was just too damn fast, and close. I bought a Sigma 30mm 1.4 prime and the photographer once again became the weak link in the equation.

    My point, few lenses can do it all. Focus your search for what this piece will be used for and it should help narrow down your options.
