ChicagoZ.com :What got you hooked to the 350Z that you ended up purchasing it?
zflybye03: I've owned 3 Twin Turbo Z's (90,91,91) and I was curious as to the performance of the new 350Z. I went to Gerald Nissan in Naperville and test drove one on the test track and fell in love with it, the acceleration, braking, handling in the corners was all more than satisfactory for me. I didn't purchase one that day because I still owned my pearl white 91 TT Z which I held on to until November of last year. Then when I sold it, I made my move for the 350Z.

ChicagoZ.com :What action does your 350Z mostly see? drag, autox, road race, show car, weekend car, and/or daily driver...
zflybye03: The car is a show car and a weekend car. I have only driven a total of 35 miles since I purchased it in Feb 2006 keeping the cars miles under 600 on the chasis. I have been too consumed with racing my waverunner around the country on weekends, and my company to truely enjoy this car this past year. However next year will be different =), I promise to make it to your guys meets next season.

ChicagoZ.com :Any performance specs? 1/4 mile@mph, whp/wtorq, track times...
zflybye03: I have not been able to have it dynoed or take it to the track. But according to prostreet magazine this car is in the 430-450hp at the crank.

ChicagoZ.com :What other modifications are you planning on doing to the 350Z, if any? Whether it's performance, handling, appearance, and/or sound system....
zflybye03: This car has it all. However, I may be swapping the supercharger out with a single turbo kit in the futre, and changing out the seats to something a little more comfortable than carbon fiber haha.

Thanks guys for the compliments, The custom dash was done by maddog audio based out of Florida. As for in the Chicago land area, I would think any high end custom car shop would be able to accomplish a custome dash on your Z

Very nice! Congrats!

The interior has a nostalgic look to it, like a 1950s car with the color scheme, painted dash and chrome bezel dials.

Congrats!
Intense ride you've got there.
Should have no problem winning trophys at any car show with that beast.
Awesome pics too!
Nice job.
